About Me

Hello and welcome! My name is Di Harding and I’m the heart behind The Wedding Galah, a celebrant who believes that every love story deserves to be celebrated with warmth, joy, and a touch of fun.

My background is in nursing, a career that has shaped who I am in so many ways. Through my work I’ve learned the importance of compassion, listening deeply, and being present for life’s most meaningful moments. Those same qualities naturally led me to become a wedding celebrant, where I have the privilege of helping couples celebrate one of the happiest days of their lives.

Friends and family would describe me as kind, friendly, bubbly, and always up for an adventure. I love meeting people, hearing their stories, and creating connections. That’s why I’m so passionate about crafting ceremonies that truly reflect each couple but my main focus is the older couple or those embarking on their second (or third) marriage but still want something special.

When you're young. The big wedding full of sparkles, the white dress, the fireworks and the 100s of guests may be exactly what you want but as you get older you realise that what you want is the love of your life beside you with authentic friends and those special members of your family. You may still want to have your ceremony in a big plush hotel and why not!  but equally you may just want it in your back garden or front room or even in the bar of your favourite pub. If that's the case then I'm the celebrant you've been looking for. I'm a celebrant full of lifes experiences, a celebrant who is genuinely invested in making your day unforgettable, I would be honoured to be part of your wedding journey.
